Wind can be an awesome force of nature, just ask anyone who has been in a tornado or powerful hurricane. We can harness this wind for the use of generating electricity for our world. When the sun shines it heats the earth, but since the earth is made of different materials and is of differing heights and valleys it heats unevenly, especially over land and water.
The world presently has an even bigger growth rate in its demand for energy. This is due mainly to the fast increase of population, which has more than doubled in the last 50 years. This has caused a strain on our energy supply, which has led to an increase in energy costs as well as sscarcities in many parts of the world. Conventional energy supplies such as petroleum and gas are believed to have been decreasing drastically and has the probability of running out totally in the future. This has encouraged many people to search for another energy sources one of which is renewable energy. The idea of renewable energy is not new.
